One of the best places to visit in Canada is Jasper National Park. Jasper is the largest of the national parks. It is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
The area offers spectacular scenic views, is home to many species of wildlife and has many kilometers of hiking trails. The park has much to offer and adults and children alike will find it to be a wonderful and interesting place to visit.

Jasper National Park is one of the most beautiful National Parks in Canada. Located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains the park is home to more than 1300 plant species, 20,000 types of insects and spiders, 40 kinds of fish, 16 types of amphibians and reptiles, 277 bird species and 68 types of mammals. The climate and geography offer a very diverse habitat for many different species. The delicate ecosystems are kept in check by strictly enforcing the rules and regulations so that many people may enjoy the park.

One of the ways that some people like to enjoy the park is through camping. There are various campgrounds throughout the park that are affordable places for anyone to stay. There are camp rules that must be followed including quiet hours during the overnight hours. Camping is very popular at the park with many types of sites available. There are a total of 1772 sites that are available in peak season. The winter campground is called Wapiti. Many of the campgrounds accept reservations and some have hook up sites. It is best to get to your site as early as possible to ensure that you get the site you prefer.

Looking for a unique and economical place to stay in Jasper National Park? Take a look at private home rentals.
The Jasper Home Accommodation Association website lists over 100 places to stay in Jasper. The listed properties are licensed and inspected private properties operated by individual homeowners. Most of the accommodations are guest bedrooms or 2nd floor suites because the park requires the homeowner to live on-site. Some are Bed and Breakfasts (B&B), offering a home-cooked morning meal.

I‘ve heard time and time again from people that finding a hotel room last minute in Jasper National Park is not easy during the peak summer season. Without a hotel room, your day could be spent trying to find one instead of enjoying the scenery. Let’s look at a bad experience and good one.
