The Columbia Icefield Snowcoach ride, or, as Brewster’s brochure calls it, the “Columbia Icefield Glacier Experience”, is a 90-minute ride on the biggest super-bus you’ve ever seen to one of the most easy-to-get-to glaciers in the world. Cavell Glacier is next to the larger Angel Glacier and the two share their ice with Cavell Pond. Read more on Real traveler videos of the Athabasca Glacier in Jasper National One of the best places to visit in Canada is Jasper National Park. Jasper is the largest of the national parks. It is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The area offers spectacular scenic views, is home to many species of wildlife and has many kilometers of hiking trails. The park has much to offer and adults and children alike will find it to be a wonderful and interesting place to visit. This 1960s era postcard of the Athabasca Glacier comes from my collection of Jasper National Park stuff. But this is no ordinary souvenir postcard. There is a story to it that should be told.
