A White-crowned Sparrow in Jasper National Park

The white-crowned sparrow is quite common throughout North America and you’ve probably seen them many times if you are from Canada or the USA.  If not, you’ll get a chance to see them in the Canadian Rockies.

I saw the popular bird making a guest appearance during summertime in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.

This one was hanging out at a lookout area on the Sulphur Skyline trail near Miette Hot Springs in Jasper National Park.  The bird was keeping an eye on my food, hoping for scraps.

They jump around fast so getting a picture in focus wasn’t easy!
